Hello!

I am Robert Puelz, Associate Professor in the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at SMU in Dallas, Texas, and Personal Finance Economics (PFE) is my baby.

In January 2022, I began PFE to bring the benefits of economic science to household financial decision-making. If you want to learn more about personal finance and want to live at your highest living standard, you are in the right place!

Why should I subscribe?

As a learner and subscriber, you will receive a knowledge base similar to the one I deliver to my students. You will find the writing about ideas and concepts relatable, usually with some story-telling. Whether you are an individual who wants to be more financially literate or the manager of your household finances, you will learn and, hopefully, enjoy the content. Timely personal finance topics and an experiential learning approach you will find thought-provoking. If you want to DIY your finances, you will learn how to effectively make personal finance decisions that consider your relevant financial attributes. Financial questions are nuanced, and your attributes matter—a lot.

Beginning August 26, 2024, paid subscribers will receive the Fall 2024 PDF edition of Economics-Based Personal Finance via email.

If you have questions, please write me.
