Expanding the Mission - A New Home for Financial Planners
A second home
Four years ago, I started Personal Finance Economics with one simple goal: to help individuals and families make smarter money decisions using economic principles.
Today, more than 4,500 subscribers have joined this community!
As Personal Finance Economics continues to grow, I’m excited to share my next step: I’ve gone live with a companion publication called MaxiFi Planning Perspectives.
This new newsletter is designed for money writers, financial planners, CFPs, and advisors who want to add life-cycle financial planning to their work. Its mission is different but complementary to our work here.
While Personal Finance Economics will continue to focus on helping individuals apply sound logic to their financial lives, Planning Perspectives is where I’ll train and collaborate with professionals to do the same for their clients.
At its core, the new newsletter is about practical implementation: I guide readers through the economics of today’s important financial questions, which we answer using MaxiFi Planner. MaxiFi is a powerful tool my undergrads have used for years. The testimonials under the Why MaxiFi tab are amazing.
If you’re a planner, a CFP, or simply someone curious about how deep financial planning can work for you, I invite you to join me at Planning Perspectives. My goal is to make MaxiFi Planning Perspectives the go-to resource for bringing life-cycle financial economics to practice.
You can subscribe to MaxiFi Planning Perspectives here.
As a thank you to this community, anyone who becomes an annual or VIP paid subscriber to Personal Finance Economics also receive a complimentary one-year paid subscription to MaxiFi Planning Perspectives.
Thank you all for supporting Personal Finance Economics. This community continues to inspire me, and this expansion is simply the next chapter in a similar mission: to make financial decisions smarter, science-backed, and deeply personal.
